The African/Caribbean dance troupe Ballet Creole will perform at Orillia’s* Opera House on February 20, 2013, at 7:00pm in Orillia, (Ontario) Canada. Entitled “Tounkande” the project “brings together song, dance and the rhythms of Guinea, West Africa and celebrates the rich cultural heritage of the Malinke people.” The troupe interprets traditional and modern pieces representing their African and Caribbean roots.
